LFP and NMC are different lithium-ion battery chemistries. Neither label alone tells you whether a car is right for your life. Compare the complete vehicle, its thermal management, charging guidance, warranty and your own usage.

Do not copy a universal charging rule from another EV. Follow the charging-limit and periodic full-charge instructions in the current owner's manual for your exact model.

Degradation is gradual, not a sudden expiry

A battery does not automatically become useless on one date. Ageing depends on chemistry, temperature, charging habits, usage and the vehicle's battery-management system.

For any specific warranty or capacity figure, read the current warranty booklet for the exact model and variant. Do not rely on a generic claim or a showroom promise that is not in writing.

Real range belongs to your route

Use brochure range to compare vehicles tested on the same basis, then validate the shortlist with ownership feedback that resembles your own driving. Context is more useful than one best-case screenshot.
